Asthma Awareness Month, World Asthma Day 2018 and Identifying Asthma Triggers

Asthma is a chronic lung disease that affects over 24 million people living in the United States, including more than 6 million children according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It causes 60% of people living with the disease to limit their physical activity or miss days at school and work. Asthma is also expensive, costing the United States approximately $56 billion each year.

The month of May is recognized as Asthma Awareness Month and May 2^nd is World Asthma Day.
