In Book, Neurosurgeon-Turned-Minister Phillip Goldfedder Affirms the Healing Power of Jesus

Phillip Goldfedder, an American raised as an Orthodox Jew, was drawn to medicine as he just really like helping people. Like the vast majority of American Jews, he was secular and least likely to believe in miracles. But that was then.
 
Goldfedder has long retired from being a surgeon and has become an active Christian minister. In his spiritual-medical memoir “Medicine, Ministry, Miracles: One Neurosurgeon’s Life” (Christian Faith Publishing, 2017), he opens up about his life journey and its influence on his medical career and more importantly, his religious calling.
 
“Medicine, Ministry, Miracles” attests to the healing power of Christ. The book highlights Goldfedder’s conversion to Jesus Christ and his eventual realization of the healing power of the Holy Spirit. This moment in his life took place after he was miraculously healed of his chronic intractable pain at a church in Orlando.
 
He then dedicated his life to Christ, the Great Physician, and witnessed even more people being healed through Christ than through conventional medical means. Indeed, his past disbelief, plus his desire to help others, was meant to prepare him for greater service. His journey somehow mirrors Apostle Paul’s ‘road to Damascus’ moment.
 
No longer in the service of the medical industry, Goldfedder finds himself blessed by carrying out faithful service to Christ. No longer wearing a hospital gown or holding a scalpel, he now puts on the garment of faith and ministers healing and deliverance to His people.
 
Rev. Phillip Goldfedder’s “Medicine, Ministry, Miracles: One Neurosurgeon’s Life” will be displayed alongside his other book Prepare Me For The End Days: Secrets For Staying Alive, at the inaugural New York Rights Fair on May 30 to June 1, 2018, at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan, New York City.

About the Author
 
Reverend Phillip Goldfedder, MD graduated from Albright College in Reading, PA and New York Medical College. He practiced neurosurgery for thirty-seven years. After Jesus healed him of chronic, intractable pain, God called him into the healing ministry. He has seen more people healed through the laying on of hands than he ever did with the scalpel. Dr. Goldfedder is now an ordained minister, who holds an honorary Doctorate in Christian Education from Canyonville Christian Academy. He and his wife, Maureen, live in Warrenville, South Carolina.
