I am the Poet of Light. In each of my poems, you will hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. The entrance of God’s Word brings light. Let each poem bloom in your heart with His light!

To have God’s Holy Spirit as the gardener of your heart, you have to invite Him, just like I did. In Luke 11:13, God said, “And if even sinful persons like yourselves give children what they need, don’t you realize that your heavenly Father will do as much, and give the Holy Spirit to those who ask for him?”

When God’s spirit, His presence moves into your heart, fear and doubt move out. When God’s spirit enters your heart, He brings His wisdom and understanding. But apart from his wisdom and understanding, you would have to rely on your own reasoning.

In my book, The Garden of My Heart, each poem is a true story my reader can relate to. This collection of poetry tells of God’s faithfulness, over a 60-year period. The premise for The Garden of My Heart is to inspire and encourage readers to read the Word of God for themselves and get the same results I did when I read the words of Jeremiah 33:3, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”

Words fitly spoken are like apples of gold in baskets of silver. I believe the words of my poetry will strengthen the faith of the listener, so they too will call on this gracious Father in heaven, expecting his answers, when the storms of life are raging in their heart.
