The Philips Benelux organization has been included in Randstad’s international `Hall of Fame’ as one of the world’s twelve most attractive employers. Over the last five years, Randstad has named Philips as ‘Best Employer in the Netherlands’ three times, due to Philips’ consistent and extraordinarily high scores in the fields of ‘reputation’, ‘career growth opportunities’, ‘pleasant work environment’, ‘work-life balance’, and ‘innovation’.  The health technology company joins the world’s twelve strongest employer brands, which also include Audi, Google, IKEA and Microsoft.

“As a global leader in health technology, we seek to improve the lives of millions of people worldwide every day,” said Suzanne Verzijden, Head of HR Philips Benelux. “This is an important reason for people wanting to work at Philips. We also work multi-disciplinarily and internationally, which offers our talent the opportunity to have challenging and diverse careers. I am proud of the fact that the combination of our pleasant work environment, our growth opportunities and our focus on innovation make Philips one of the most attractive employers worldwide.”

“For years, Philips has consistently scored extraordinarily high in our research with respect to the most important criteria for an attractive employer,” said Marjolein ten Hoonte, Director Labor Market and MVO Randstad. “Philips is the first Dutch employer to be inducted into our international ‘Hall of Fame’. A great performance and a well-deserved reward for the company’s labor market policy.’’

The Randstad Award is the annual award for the most attractive employers in the Netherlands; voted for by the Dutch public. Randstad has been conducting this research for 18 years. The respondents - men and women, participants and non-participants in the labor market, aged 18-65 - chose the most attractive employers from the 478 largest Dutch organizations. Research firm Kantar TNS surveyed a representative online panel of more than 12,332 respondents, who filled out a questionnaire in November and December, 2017.

On a global level, the Randstad Employer Brand Research was conducted among 175,000 respondents in 30 countries.
