Orleans Seafood Kitchen Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary

Mardi Gras-themed community event scheduled Thursday, April 26, 2018

Katy, TX USA – WEBWIRE

Celebrate Orleans Seafood Kitchen’s 10 years of doing business in Katy on Thursday, April 26 from 11 A.M. to 10 P.M with a Mardi Gras-themed party featuring live zydeco music, fresh signature crawfish, beer and hurricane specials.

Locally-owned and operated Orleans Seafood Kitchen announced today that it will celebrate 10 years of doing business in Katy on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 11 A.M. to 10 P.M with a Mardi Gras-themed party featuring live zydeco music, fresh signature crawfish, beer and hurricane specials.

“We’re so excited to celebrate this important milestone with our customers, employees and community,” says Chance Comstock, co-owner of Orleans Seafood Kitchen. “It’s been a real honor to serve our community and to watch these families grow over the years. We’ve even seen little kids grow into teenagers who eventually become employees. It’s a real family here and we’re so grateful to call this home.”

It was in 2003 that owners Chance Comstock and Marcus S. Payavla met while working at a big box restaurant. They could clearly see the inherent problems in the business model and thought they could do it better. They believed in commitment to formula and hard work. Five years later, they opened Orleans Seafood Kitchen at 20940 Katy Freeway, and haven’t looked back.

The menu at Orleans Seafood Kitchen reflects true New Orleans style, featuring regional specialties like char-grilled oysters, their signature gumbo, etouffée, po-boys and jambalaya. Customers also enjoy seasonal favorites like deep-fried turkey at Thanksgiving and fresh boiled crawfish in the Spring.

Comstock and Payavla attribute their success to the attention to detail that comes naturally with being on site every day. It is that attention to detail and their commitment to customers, employees and community that set Orleans Seafood Kitchen apart from the often less personal, corporate competition.

“Our guests appreciate our food and the way we do business,” says Payavla. “We’ve even added a food truck to fill the demand for catering and other mobile opportunities.”
