Kim Cadorette recognized as an outstanding woman in business

At NH Business Review’s award ceremony last night, Kim Cadorette was honored with an Outstanding Women in Business Award. The award program celebrates the success and achievements of women like Kim, not only in their personal lives, but also as leaders and role models across New Hampshire’s diverse business community. According to the publication, the awards honor women who have a strong sense of self, a success-driven worth ethic, and extraordinary accomplishments that make them true leaders in their chosen fields.

Starting at BAE Systems as a teenager with a high school diploma, Kim worked her way up from an hourly office worker to spearheading a more than $100M initiative at our company. Now as a director of operations for our Electronic Combat Solutions business, Kim leads our Ramp 2 Rate initiative, which is an internal investment effort developed to meet the five-year growth anticipated in BAE Systems’ electronic warfare product production. In this role, Kim helps her team facilitate the production capacity and capability in both our supply chain and manufacturing facilities across the U.S. to ensure the success of BAE Systems’ current and future electronic warfare production programs for our customers. Kim is also actively involved in several BAE Systems’ programs that focus on mentoring women and leadership development.

Additionally, her passion for manufacturing extends beyond BAE Systems through her advocacy for education in the local community. Kim has forged partnerships with New Hampshire community colleges and high schools to educate and train students regarding careers in manufacturing. Her extensive involvement in the community around these efforts is built on a strong desire to help young students discover a career in manufacturing that they may not have realized was possible.

From visiting and thanking the operators on the manufacturing floor and ensuring program goals are met to mentoring local youth in her communities, Kim’s widespread impact on BAE Systems and her local community is truly impressive. From everyone at BAE Systems, congratulations Kim!
