Children’s book author Rebecca Crosdale presents another heartwarming story that teaches valuable lessons about acceptance, respect, and sensitivity.

A frog and a human girl overcome and celebrate their differences and form a friendship unlike any other in Rebecca Crosdale’s latest children’s book, “The Frog in the Pond.”

Children’s book author Rebecca Crosdale presents another heartwarming story that teaches valuable lessons about acceptance, respect, and sensitivity.

In “The Frog in the Pond,” a wandering frog finds a home for himself in a pond. He gets along with the other pond regulars, except for a human girl named Kyah, who can’t accept the little creature’s strangeness. Instead of giving up, the wandering frog decides to help Kyah see that differences can also bring people together.

True to the theme of her other books, Crosdale’s newest children’s book tells a story that celebrates diversity and encourages children to be sensitive of other people’s feelings. When asked about her inspiration for writing the book, Crosdale answers, “It is my contribution towards the anti-bullying effort.”

Linnette Nappi, an Amazon customer, gave the book five stars and commented, “This is an amazing story for all children to learn from.”

From October 11 to 15, “The Frog in the Pond” was exhibited at LitFire’s booth at the 2017 Frankfurt Book Fair. The international gathering of publishing professionals took place at the Frankfurt Trade Fair in Germany.
