Physical Intimacy from a Different Point of View
Sex analyzed from a spiritual perspective
Vieselmeyer got his inspiration for the book after meeting people who were able to rescue children from sex trade on his mission trips to Guatemala and El Salvador. After hearing their stories, he felt the need to start writing. According to him, his book was not an instructional, “how-to” guide. Instead, it’s intended to help readers fully enjoy the physical and spiritual aspects of intimacy.
Beyond the physical satisfaction it brought, sex enabled couples to establish a much closer connection on a spiritual level. Ron Vieselmeyer further explained this idea in Sex: Baddest Sin or Goodest Pleasure.

Because he had seen the positive and negative effects sex has on people, Vieselmeyer wanted his readers to understand the concept of sexual morality. “As a counselor, I’m always dealing with issues of sexuality, marriage, child abuse, and how it impacts their lives,” he said. In line with this, he hoped his readers, especially couples, would learn to engage in sexual activities according to God’s plan, leading to a healthy, stable marriage.
Sex: Baddest Sin or Goodest Pleasure was displayed in LitFire Publishing’s booth at the Frankfurt Book Fair. It was held at the Messe Frankfurt in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, from October 11 to 15.
