Pasadena, CA – WEBWIRE

Best Seller Publishing announces the release of Dr. Erica Miller’s new book “Chronologically Gifted: Aging with Gusto: A Practical Guide for Healthy Living to Age 123.” It will be available for free download in the Amazon Kindle Store on January 8th.

In “Chronologically Gifted: Aging with Gusto - A Practical Guide for Healthy Living to Age 123,” Dr. Erica Miller takes the reader through the research of human life extension and more importantly, teaches us how to make that life extension more purposeful, rewarding and fun. Dr. Miller explains that age, simply for the sake of longevity, is a goal that may be fraught with health, economic, and social problems. On the other hand, longevity as a byproduct of good health and attitude, where we live biologically in a more youthful state than our chronological age, is not only a desirable goal, but something that is quite achievable.

This is a book for any and all ages. It’s a practical guide for living an energetic life that will keep you healthy, well past 100.

“Chronologically Gifted” by Dr. Erica Miller will be free and available for download on Amazon for 5 days (01/08/2018 – 01/12/2018) at: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077V3GL7T. “Chronologically Gifted” has a 5.0-star rating on Amazon.com. Here’s what some people are saying:

“Great read!!! What I love most about this book is the focus of how gratitude and positive attitudes help to keep us living life fully! Erica Miller PhD is brilliant in both inspiring and giving clear explanations of how to live a full, “youthful” life. We learn from her personal history how, we too, can intentionally prepare ourselves in positive ways for the inevitable aging process in both body, mind and spirit. Every page is saturated with great news, knowledge and/or examples to guide and motivate. Readers are offered much to consider in avoiding the many negative pitfalls of our modern culture and aging. Being “Chronically gifted” is available to everyone as it is a “choice” we can all make. I will definitely will keep this great book in my collection always! Thank you Erica Miller PHD!” – Peter M.

“In a society that seems obsessively focused on youth with people either denying or dreading the inevitable “getting old,” Dr. Miller posits a refreshing change of attitude: Embrace getting older and do it “with gusto.” The title of her book, “Chronologically Gifted,” refers to the idea that those who approach aging with both acceptance and joy will lead happier, more fulfilling and often even longer lives. Dr. Miller takes the reader through the evolving science of aging and lays out a roadmap for living your life in a way that will allow you to be both fulfilled and happy. As I reach an age where calling myself “middle age” seemed to be a stretch (but maybe not?!), I love the idea of living the coming years with purpose and with gusto! Check out this book - you will be inspired!” – Laura G.

About the Author:
Dr. Erica Miller was born on November 10, 1933. From birth to age seven, Erica and her family lived a ‘normal’ life in Tshernovitz, which is now part of the Ukraine. In 1940 when Erica was seven, she and her family were among thousands of Jews herded into cattle cars and transported to a Nazi camp. In 1944, after four years of indescribable oppression and deprivation, Erica, her parents, and her sister were liberated by the Russians. Erica had no formal education while in the concentration camp. Her first time in school was at age 11 (or fifth grade), where she had to learn quickly how to read, write, and do arithmetic. Much to the chagrin of her classmates, she excelled at all three. By age 15, her family immigrated to Israel, where she pursued her high school diploma at night and worked during the day. She was the only one among her female peers to earn a high school degree. After high school, Erica, unlike other young girls, joined and served in the Israeli Air Force from 1954 to 1956. Being in the Air Force was a dream she was determined to realize. She stood proud and was thrilled to give herself over to defending her country. After her time in the military, she landed a prestigious job at the Israeli Government Tourist Information Office (1956- 1958). Next, fate and opportunity took her life’s journey to Los Angeles, California, where she attended the

University of Judaism (now American Jewish University) to pursue a degree in teaching Hebrew. There she met her future husband, Jerry Miller. They built a nest and filled it with two children. In 1970, Erica went back to school where she graduated with a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. Shortly afterwards, by making good use of her drive and her husband’s marketing skills, they opened a chain of mental health clinics throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. In addition, they ran California Diversion Intervention Foundation, a non-profit organization. Currently, Dr. Miller oversees her family’s real estate management company in Austin, Texas and she just authored her third book which will be published in the fall of 2017. Dr. Erica’s passion for life fuels her endless drive to achieve, which is just one of the five topics on her public speaking agenda that she shares at engagements around the country.
