Collection of Poems Explores Love, Passion, Pain

Entrepreneur and holistic therapist turned author Queen Kita C. publishes her first collection of love poems entitled Allure of Love: Poetry Collection.

Kita C. began writing poetry as young girl. As a working adult, she found comfort and release in creative writing. In her first collection of poems, Allure of Love, Kita C. explores the feeling of love and all it entails. From the beginning of love to the last goodbye, each poem captures the range of emotions a person in love feels throughout the experience.

“Love’s Vacancy,” one of the twenty poems in the collection, expresses a person’s passion and yearning for a lover despite the doubt that torment a relationship. Another poem, “C’est La Vie,” talks about the pain of a lover’s betrayal and the feeling of triumph after overcoming the pain. Through her poems, Kita C. hopes to show the many sides of love and reach out to the hearts of many.

Allure of Love was exhibited at LitFire’s booth at the 2017 Frankfurt Book Fair, from October 11 to 15, 2017. The international gathering of publishing professionals took place at the Frankfurt Trade Fair in Germany.

About the Author

An avid holistic therapist and certified mindfulness master, Queen Kita C. uses writing as a way to express herself and explore her passions. As a young girl, she enjoyed writing poetry and essays. Music and her personal experiences are her greatest source of inspiration.
