Award-Winning Denver Homebuilders, Berkeley Homes and Harvard Communities, Garner Three Prestigious MAME Awards for their Bellwether Place Home Collection in RidgeGate

Denver-based homebuilders, Berkeley Homes and Harvard Communities, were honored with three Marketing and Merchandising Excellence Awards at the recently held MAME Awards Gala held in early November at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts’ Sewell Grand Ballroom.

MAME Awards honor top achievers in the new home industry. The awards are comprised of marketing, sales, interior design, architectural and builder awards. Each year, MAME Awards are presented by the Metro Denver Homebuilders Association’s Sales & Marketing Council to those who set the standard of excellence in the Denver home building industry.

Berkeley Homes and Harvard Communities together won three separate and highly-regarded MAME Awards, including Best Interior Merchandising and Best Designed Home Collection.

Said Berkeley Homes President, Jeff Willis, “It was a great honor to take home the best designed home collection for our Bellwether Place community. Together with Godden|Sudik Architects, we went into creating this architecture with cutting edge ideas in mind. Given the RidgeGate community’s strong urban-style location and convenient walkability to Sprouts, nearby restaurants, shops, and transportation, we wanted the architecture to match the lifestyle of the vicinity. We strove to create an ‘urban in the suburbs’ vibe with this community and new home collection. Godden|Sudik did a tremendous job.”

Berkeley’s recent MAME Awards add to the company’s long-list of achievements in Denver’s new home industry. Berkeley Homes has been honored for many of its innovative and hot-selling communities in the past; this recent flurry of awards serves as testament to the company’s ability to continually bring leading new home design and innovations to the Denver market.

“The interior merchandising of this home captured the contemporary look we were going for,” said Willis, adding, “We worked with Trio Environments and told them we wanted something fresh, contemporary, and different. That is exactly what Trio delivered and it turned out great.”
