Crown Club Acquires Colonial Country Club
New Owner Intends to Maintain the Property as a Golf Course
Harrisburg – Lower Paxton Township, PA – Crown Club, LP recently acquired the Colonial Country Club property and intends to maintain the property as a golf club. Mark X. DiSanto, CEO, and John M. DiSanto, President, of Triple Crown Corporation, Inc. state that Colonial Country Club fits well into their increasingly diverse portfolio ranging from single-family homes to apartment communities to Class A office space, a variety of warehouse facilities and the Bumble Bee Hollow Golf Driving Range on Linglestown Road. John DiSanto notes, “People expected us to show up with bulldozers but we plan to continue and improve the existing club.” The DiSanto’s feel that this furthers their commitment in providing excellence in real estate services.
The facility will be renamed Colonial Golf and Tennis Club and will become a
semi-private facility offering club memberships as well as daily fee golf play open to the public. Colonial Golf and Tennis Club will be unique in that it will truly be a
semi-private facility with resort level service. For those who want a “club” experience, several memberships are available that will enable a member to enjoy a variety of first class amenities: tennis, swimming pool, fitness center, excellent dining facilities and of course a first class golf course. In addition, there will be some “members only” areas of the facility, golf events and a variety of social events.
For those who enjoy the occasional round of golf, Colonial Golf & Tennis Club will offer a true country club quality golf course for daily fee play.
Colonial Golf and Tennis Club will be managed by Troon, the preeminent golf management company in the country. Jim Karafa of Troon will be the General Manager. Troon currently manages some 150 courses with some 40+ country clubs in their portfolio, the most recent being the Seaview Resort in Galloway, New Jersey. “We are excited to have Troon managing our Colonial facility. This further shows our commitment to providing a first class club in the Central Pennsylvania market,” says Mark DiSanto.
