TietoEnator has been selected as Volvohandelns Utvecklings AB’s IT infrastructure partner

23 February 2006, Volvohandelns Utvecklings and TietoEnator Processing & Network have signed an operations agreement concerning their TACDIS system (Truck and Car Dealer Information System) and IFS financial system. The contract spans a period of three years and has a total value of approximately 2.75 MEUR.

TACDIS is a central application used throughout Volvohandeln in Sweden and Norway. The system consists of a number of well-integrated modules that manage most business-related functions for Volvo car and truck dealers. The system covers everything from the initial sales contacts, making the customized car specification, to the equally important management of the entire aftermarket for service and spare parts. The system has over 7000 daily users and generates more that 30 million transactions per day.
