Appointment Expands CA’s Role in the Area of Open Standards

(NASDAQ:CA) today announced that Paul Lipton, CA vice president, Industry Standards and Open Source, was elected to the Board of Directors at OASIS (Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards), a not-for-profit consortium that drives the development, convergence and adoption of open standards for the global information society.

He is a Microsoft Most Valuable Professional, a Sun Java Champion, and a founding member of the CA Council for Technical Excellence.
