Purchase A Lollipop Bouquet And Support Children With Chronic Illnesses

Lollipop Theater Network is a nonprofit organization that brings movie magic to children confined to hospitals due to chronic or life-threatening illnesses nationwide. The organization’s goal is to create a fun escape from the daily reality of the illnesses these children face and to offer them and their families a moment of normalcy in an otherwise stressful environment.

National Lollipop Day is July 20th, 2009. To celebrate the day, LOLLIPOP THEATER NETWORK is working in conjunction with local and national businesses to help raise funds and awareness for their organization. Businesses across the country are joining together to donate portions of proceeds from that day.

EdibleGiftsPlus.com , an online retailer of gourmet gift items is donating 100% OF THE PROCEEDS from lollipop bouquets purchased that week to Lollipop Theater Network. Edible Gifts Plus is also hosting a drawing to win a lollipop bouquet on its website (http://www.ediblegiftsplus.com ). The fundraiser extends from July 20th to July 27th.

La Dolce Vita Restaurant in Beverly Hills is also supporting the event by donating 20% of proceeds from dinner patrons presenting the Lollipop coupon on July 20th. Cristophe Salon in Beverly Hills is offering 50% off salon services (Cut, Color, Blow-dry, Deep Conditioning) for customers on July 20th, 1:00pm-7:00pm with 50% of the proceeds donated to Lollipop Theater Network. David Burke’s Primehouse at The James Hotel in Chicago will donate 50% of the proceeds from their “Lollipop Tree” dessert, David Burke’s signature cheesecake lollipops, sold that day to organization.
