Motorola joins as the world celebrates the 40th anniversary of the moon landing.

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – On July 20, Motorola will join as the world celebrates the 40th anniversary of the moon landing. Motorola provided the radio transponder for Neil Armstrong’s famous first words from the moon. As a result, Motorola will participate in a four-day celebration, marking the four days from Apollo 11’s landing on the moon to its safe return back to Earth.

Four-Day Celebration Featuring “Then vs. Now”
• Starting on July 20, Motorola will release a technology update via its Facebook and Twitter pages. This update will highlight a product involved in the moon landing and Motorola technology available today.
• These updates will also include Motorola images related to the moon landing.

Motorola Aura Celestial Edition
• Motorola has released a limited edition Celestial Edition of the Motorola Aura.
• Motorola has created a video to highlight this new product.
