Two River Theater in Red Bank Presents a Personal Development Workshop

Due to ever-increasing healthcare costs and a failing medical system, the trend towards disease prevention is gaining momentum. Time Magazine (June 22nd, 2009) recently published a Health Issue focusing on staying healthy throughout life. It describes health as a complete state of being and addresses the value of staying ‘Fit’ both mentally and physically. Dr. Michael Weittzman of the Langone Medical Center, NYU wrote, “It’s easier NOT to develop problems than it is to cure them.” Prevention is examined as the smarter approach to healthcare.

The Sum Effect Workshop provides these resources for complete LIFE FIT-NESS. Using a proactive approach, individuals will learn how the mind, body and emotions are interconnected. Using all three personal aspects of self enhances complete health. Ruth Palacio states,” The more ‘FIT’ we become mentally, physically and emotionally, the better prepared we are to manage life’s changes and unexpected events.” The Two River Theater Company in Red Bank will host The Sum Effect Workshop this July. The event will be presented by Ruth Palacio, MS, CASAC of Palacio Consulting, a clinical therapist and corporate consultant, Ariane Hundt, a New York City personal trainer, nutritionist, and founder of the famed Brooklyn Bridge Boot Camp, and Pamela Furlong, a spiritual advisor.

Participants will learn cutting-edge techniques to develop the motivation to achieve their goals, make healthy nutrition and exercise enjoyable aspects of life, and develop intuition for focus and clarity.

The workshop will take place Saturday July 18th, from 9am-2pm at the Two River Theater on Bridge Avenue in Red Bank. Gift bags and a light FIT-fare will be served. Tickets are $99 in advance or $125 at the door. Register with Ruth Palacio at or 917-612-7114.
