NextGenTel Holding ASA presents results for Q4 and preliminary annual results for 2005

NextGenTel’s growth continues.

Oslo/Bergen, February 21st, 2006, Norwegian broadband company NextGenTel reports a growth in Q4-2005 of 18,400 active broadband lines, including acquisitions. The total customer base reached a total of 148,000 active broadband lines, leading to an increase of the Company’s total DSL market share to 18.1 %. In total, NextGenTel
increased by 52,700 lines during 2005, a growth of 55.3 % compared to the end of 2004.

NextGenTel reports a positive profit before tax (EBT) of 7.2 mNOK for Q4-2005, an improvement from –3.8 mNOK in Q4-2004.

The revenue in Q4-2005 increased to 163.4 mNOK (+29 % compared to Q4-2004). EBITDA in the fourth quarter was 36.4 mNOK (+18 % compared to Q4-2004). EBIT was 11.3 mNOK, compared to 1.5 mNOK in the fourth quarter of 2004.

For 2005, the accumulated revenue was 599.8 mNOK (+32 % compared to 2004), and EBT was improved from –12.2 mNOK in 2004 to 3.4 mNOK in 2005.

This is strongly addressed by the Company, and we now see that the expansion of overall capacity within the Customer Service Operation and other implemented improvements have had distinct effects, by improved response times and positive feedback from customers”.

Total Average Revenue per User/Customer line (ARPU), showed a slight reduction of NOK 5 to NOK 409 in the fourth quarter of 2004 compared to Q3-2005.

Net cash flow from operating activities was positive by 34 mNOK in Q4- 2005. At the end of the fourth quarter NextGenTel had available cash of 144.9 mNOK. The equity ratio at the end of the fourth quarter was 42.7 %.
