Carlton Institute launches EzFlow and Xen-tan into training courses

WEBWIRE

Students at the UK’s largest spa and beauty fast-track training College, The Carlton Institute, will soon be enjoying using some excellent new nail and spray tan products in their training courses. As part of a continuous long term programme of quality improvements EzFlow and Xen-tan will be introduced into training. After completing their courses Carlton Institute students will be offered an introductory price on both products and the opportunity of future special offers to help build their business. The products will be phased in across the 7 training centres over the next few months.

Nail courses at Carlton will now be using EzFlow and students will become familiar with using the brand for their clients after training. At the same time Carlton is improving student choice in nail courses, there will now be the option to study any one of the three separate nail systems, gel, acrylic and silk and fibreglass. The option to cover all three systems, a very popular course choice, will still be offered.

Principal, Suki Kalirai, said ‘We listened to both our lecturers and students who feedback that they would like to use a high quality, recognised brand in nail training and so we have worked with EzFlow to use the products all our nail courses. This is just the beginning of a series of quality improvement steps we will be taking by listening to our experienced lecturers and students’

In spray tan courses Carlton Institute will now also use the high performing, no aroma brand, Xen-tan. As summer approaches spa and salon demand for spray knowledge and skills soars Carlton will be able to offer learning experience with one of the best new products on the market today. Xen-Tan has received extensive consumer publicity and is an award winning new fake tan developed to provide a tan that lasts for up to 10 days and fades gradually and naturally. Unique ingredients means it won’t turn orange and the aroma smells pleasant, a real benefit for clients.

Helen Glen, senior lecturer at Carlton adds, ‘We are looking forward to teaching with EzFlow and Xen-tan products. It will be a real bonus for our students to be able to achieve enhanced results for their future clients’

On the course content side Carlton is working hard to provide its students with the courses they need. For example the Hopi ear candling course will be given extra time to cover pressure point massage and use of an otoscope that will enable students to gain a higher qualification. However, a shorter Hopi course for those who may already have this knowledge will also be available.

Over the last year Carlton has extended the number of training centres from 2 to 7 to enable students to study closer to home and in some cases avoid the extra cost of travel and accommodation. There are now training centres in Windsor, Exmouth, Stockport, Glasgow, Durham and East Midlands. The large Essex area is covered by a partnership between the award winning Brentwood Academy and The Carlton Institute. The Carlton Institute has other new quality initiatives in development - we will keep you informed!
