Unilever investment in Vietnam

Unilever today announced that it has invested an undisclosed amount in its subsidiary in Vietnam.

Under the terms of an agreement with Vinachem, who owned 33.3% of the business, Unilever increased its ownership to 100%.

Since its entry into Vietnam in 1995, Unilever has been one of the leading and most successful foreign investors in the country in the FMCG sector.

The transaction has successfully passed the relevant regulatory approvals and has now been completed.
