CraigsList Failing - New Ad Posting Sites Emerge PoshListings.com

It used to be that if you were looking for anything from a free bicycle, a better job, or your next ex-spouse, all you had to do is put a post on CraigsList.com and your worries were over. That’s no so anymore. CraigsList.com is not only riddled with flaws, but it has also run into a spate of negative news reports, legal issues, and even a serial murder spree. That’s not exactly great news for what was once a really cool website that was enormously useful. Fortunately, the demise of CraigsList has opened the door for some up and coming new, free ad listing sites for example www.PoshListings.com

What makes the newer sites like PoshListings.com so much better is that they have all the intelligence, organization, and categorization of CraigsList.com, but they have benefited from all the learning that comes after five years of operation. Here is one good example. On CraigsList.com you are only allowed to post one ad in one location. The new free classified ad sites have names like: backpage.com, Kijiji.com, oodle.com and PoshListings.com, and they offer real improvements like listings in multiple cities, and less of that annoying flagging from unknown administrators on a power trip.

One of the good things about CraigsList.com that the others like oodle.com and PoshListings.com do not have yet is a huge listing under almost any city, in any category under the sun. The newer lists are beginning to get populated very quickly and this should not be an issue within a week or so. On the other hand, since half the people on CraigsList are phonies or scam artists, the selection on the newer sites seems to be more effective and a lot more efficient. The people are real, and truly want to find a match to their specific needs for listing a free classified ad.

I went on Backpage.com and sent a message to a woman who seemed nice. On CraigsList.com, this would have triggered a month’s worth of spam and invitations to join pay websites… and of course, there is no woman behind the ad at all. On Backpage.com, I got a prompt response from a real woman. The same was true for PoshListings.com as well. I responded to a post, and within a few minutes, I was delighted that I had found a perfect match.

They always say, out with the old and in with the new. CraigsList.com really refined the free classified ad posting website experience, and then something went horribly wrong. Fortunately, other websites like Kijiji, oodle.com, and PoshListings.com have adopted all the good parts of the technology, and made it even better. The result is that internet users will now have more options, more efficient free classified ad posting sites, and a lot more ways to find the things they want.
