Denby Bicentenary Birthday Celebration Party

Denby Pottery’s 200th anniversary of producing high quality pottery in the UK is being celebrated on 27th & 28th June 2009 with a big birthday party to be held at the Denby Visitor Centre.

Denby has a long and rich history and has evolved to meet the changing needs of society and for generations has been at the heart of the home. It was founded as a manufacturer of bottles and household goods (the Denby Hot Water Bottle kept feet warm throughout the Napoleonic Wars). Today Denby pottery remains the number one choice for the bride in the UK.

To mark Denby’s 200th birthday there are a series of new product launches and events throughout 2009 and lots of special offers in their online shop on the Denby website. The highlight of the celebration will be held at Denby’s award winning Visitor Centre, which will host the Bicentenary Celebration Party starting at 10 am on 27th and 28th June.

All are welcome to join the festivities and entrance to the event is free for all the family.
