Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management Hires Team to Expand Coverage of Latin American Markets

Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management, a division of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC, announced today that it has hired a team of six investment professionals to serve ultra high net worth and institutional clients in Florida and the Latin American Markets.

The team will be based in Miami and includes two Investment Representatives: Executive Director Candido Viyella and Executive Director Luis Arriola. They will be joined by Vice President, Maria Goudie, and Karen Mendoza, Marisol Arroyo and Nicolas Boker. The team will report to Jon Mallon, Executive Director and Manager of the Private Wealth Management office in Miami.

Mr. Viyella joins the Firm from UBS where he spent nine years, most recently as Managing Director and a member of the Global Circle of Excellence and the Chairman’s Council. Prior to UBS, for nine years, he was a Senior Vice President at Prudential Securities. Mr. Viyella is involved in several community organizations in Miami where he resides with his wife and three children.

Mr. Arriola also joins Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management from UBS where he spent nine years, most recently as a Senior Vice President and President’s Council member. Prior to UBS, he was with Prudential Securities for nine years. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Mr. Arriola resides in Miami with his wife and three children.
