Legal Clarity launches a Free Company Name Check Tool

Legal Clarity is pleased to announce the launch of their Advanced Company Name Check tool which is available on their website from today. The Company Name Checker is the first in a programme of free tools and services that Legal Clarity is launching over the coming months to assist entrepreneurs and small businesses.

The Company Name Check tool ( uses innovative technology to combine and automate several checks that entrepreneurs routinely undertake when searching for a new company name. That is: checking the complete and up-to-date index of registered company names at Companies House; checking for sensitive words which may require special consent or permission before they can be registered, and also checking proposed names for offensive content. The use of sensitive or offensive words frequently leads to applications to register a company being rejected.

James Quinn, Director says:

‘It’s a real advantage having these three company name checks performed with one click of a mouse, users have a much better chance of having their proposed company name accepted first time.’

‘Entrepreneurs will usually test many names before settling on the perfect name for their proposed company. This tool will save them a great deal of time.’

Legal Clarity invites entrepreneurs to check their business name ideas using its free Company Name checker. They are offering a free company formation to the entrepreneur who searches for the most ‘innovative’ company name in June.
