TestAmerica’s Brian Queen Installed as President of the Atlanta Post, Society of American Military Engineers (SAME)

On June 11, 2009, Brian Queen, Account Executive for TestAmerica Laboratories, Inc. will be installed as President of the Atlanta Post, SAME for the 2009 – 2010 term. This will be Brian’s second term as Post President, having served in this capacity in 2001 – 2002. Brian’s service to the Atlanta Post transcends the past 10 years where he has served in multiple Post positions to include: Chair of the Sustaining Member and Nominating Committee, Director, and Vice President (two terms). Among the major initiatives for the Atlanta Post in the new term will be hosting the annual SAME Joint Engineer Training Conference & Expo (JETC) in May 2010, the premier national gathering of military engineers.

Part of the SAME South Atlantic Region, the Atlanta Post has 416 individual members along with 75 sustaining member firms. SAME is a unique entity providing a nationwide forum where public and private sector engineers and those with related disciplines can work cooperatively with their uniformed counterparts on matters of national security.
