Verimatrix and HFCNET Team to Deliver Mexico’s First Advanced Hybrid DVB-C/IP/DOCSIS Network for Cablemás

Second Largest Cable Operator in Mexico Adds Secure Interactivity and On-demand Content while Leveraging Existing Infrastructure

The enhanced digital cable service will feature broadcast digital television in SD and HD, an on-demand library scalable to many thousand titles and interactive features such as time shift TV, digital music channels, Web radio, PCTV, TV Web browsing and social networking applications.

VCAS for DVB enables Cablemás to combine the new DVB-C network for broadcast distribution with the interactivity of an IPTV system using a single security solution with the same head-end infrastructure.
