Vanguard Healthcare Solutions Acquires Rights to Rehab Integrity Pro Software

Tampa, Florida – Vanguard Healthcare Solutions today announced it has acquired the rights to Rehab Integrity Pro, the health care industry’s leading physical medicine compliance software. The company has changed the software’s viewpoint from its use by insurance carriers to utilization by health care providers rendering musculoskeletal rehabilitation.

Internet-based Rehab Integrity Pro has been a powerful tool for the insurance industry to identify provider non-compliance in order to deny claims. Its unique methodology assumed a provider’s submission was delivered in a non-compliant fashion and it put the onus on the provider to prove otherwise: a requirement that was generally unattainable for the provider.

Vanguard is taking the opposite perspective with Rehab Integrity Pro. Rehab 1 Corporation, the software’s originator, established all carrier licenses for expiration on May 31, 2009. Vanguard will not renew them and will no longer issue licenses to carriers. Instead, it will focus on provider needs. The software’s proprietary methodology has been modified and now gives providers a new and proven manner to enhance their compliance while simultaneously increasing their collections. The same functionality that formerly was used by adjusters to limit provider reimbursement now enables practitioners to optimize reimbursement and withstand the utmost scrutiny from any payer.
