It’s school holiday season again – a time of fun, relief and celebration for children… but sometimes a headache for parents. How do you as a parent ensure that your children enjoy themselves and yet learn a useful skill with the assurance that they will be safe and secure?

Happy Fish Swim School Pte Ltd – which offers the largest number of certified swimming coaches in Singapore – is pleased to announce its June 2009 holiday swimming programme for kids, which is designed to help children with little or no swimming knowledge to become water-safe in four weeks or less.

The programme aims to help children overcome their fear of water, gain confidence and learn the basic motions necessary for efficient and enjoyable swimming. During school term, your children are busy with school activities and hardly have time to learn swimming. With this holiday programme, they are able to kick-start their swimming skills and becoming water-safe.

Since December 2007, Happy Fish Swim School has been organizing such activities during school holidays. Due to popular demand, the programme has become a regular feature on the calendar during school holidays.

Happy Fish Swim School’s founder and Managing Director Jian Yong, said: “It’s a joy to see children having fun while learning swimming at our programmes. They learn an important life-saving skill and make new friends at the same time. Some of them have even formed their own swim groups to continue lessons after the holidays. We usually hold this programme in only three swimming complexes in Bukit Batok, Yio Chu Kang and Bedok. But due to popular demand across Singapore, we are adding six venues.”

The locations for the Happy Fish June 2009 holiday swimming programme are Bedok Swimming Complex, Bishan Swimming Complex, Bukit Batok Swimming Complex, Choa Chu Kang Swimming Complex, Delta Swimming Complex, Hougang Swimming Complex, Tampines Swimming Complex, Woodlands Swimming Complex and Yio Chu Kang Swimming Complex.

All Happy Fish instructors are certified by the Singapore Sports Council, so you can have the peace of mind that your children are learning from qualified teachers.

Give your child the opportunity to learn a life-saving skill while having fun!

Registration is now open. Parents can register their children for this programme through the website http://www.swimminglessons.com.sg/school-holiday-intensive-swimming-lessons.htm
