Suze Orman, Jillian Michaels, & More To Speak at the Women Empowering Women Summit

Jersey City, NJ (May 26, 2009) — Women Empowering Women Events, a division of Glow International Group, has created the 1st Annual Women Empowering Women Summit, a summit designed to empower and inspire women to succeed in both their personal and professional lives, and the 3rd Annual Women Empowering Women Maverick Awards. The events will be held at the Westin Newport Hotel, 479 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07311, on June 14-15, 2009.

This initiative empowers, inspires, and educates women of all ages and backgrounds by bringing together a panel of the most successful women in the nation to provide invaluable insights and life lessons.“The Women Empowering Women Summit was created to help women step out of their comfort zone and dare to succeed in the face of adversity especially during these troubled economic times”, states Kisha Mays, CEO of Glow International Group.

Event Speakers include Personal Finance Guru Suze Orman, Fitness Expert and Star of The Biggest Loser Jillian Michaels, Authors of The Skinny Bitch Rory Freedman and Kim Barnouin, and more.

This event will be hosted by Syndicated Television and Radio Personality, Egypt Sherrod. “I decided to be apart of the Women Empower Women (WEW) event because it embodies what I am truly passionate about; striving to educate and empower women to reach their full potential and to recognize their own inner greatness,” explains Egypt Sherrod.

To ensure the expo’s message extends to women of every age and ethnicity, and economic background, the Women Empowering Women Summit is partnering with Junior Achievement of New York, WEEN (Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network), The Libby Ross Foundation, and the Get’em Girls.

At the 3rd Annual Women Empowering Women Maverick Awards, the 2009 honoree of the Women Empowering Women Maverick Award is Award Winning and Celebrated Music Legend Patti Labelle. Past honorees include Vanessa L. Williams and Ana Ortiz.

Proceeds from all ticket sales will be donated to Junior Achievement of New York & The Libby Ross Foundation.
