Ericsson to provide WAP billing in the UK for ZapDance
Tuesday, February 14 2006, Ericsson will provide WAP billing in the UK for ZapDance, a leading Norwegian developer of mobile internet portals. Ericsson Internet Payment eXchange (IPX) is the dominant aggregator in enabling WAP billing across major networks in the UK.
ZapDance is now able to provide an end-to-end WAP solution, with Ericsson IPX supplying the white-label billing element. This solution makes it possible for content and application providers to maintain brand ownership throughout the purchase process, which reduces the number of customers lost at the billing stage.
