Able Forensic Investigations expands TSCM Activities through Branch Office in Toronto

SAN DIEGO, California (May 20, 2009) Able Forensics, a Private Investigation Agency in San Diego, with Offices in Toronto, Canada, has announced a significant increase in Investigators and equipment to be used within it’s Toronto Tactical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM) Section.

“Corporate espionage in the global marketplace is real and on the rise. Its many forms may include the threat of kidnapping and extortion, stalkers, or intrusions into your private affairs, among others and by far the most pervasive of these forms is the utilization of electronic surveillance devices to secretly acquire information” said Howard Eisemann, president and general manager, for Investigative Services at Able Forensics.

“Able Investigations conducts an Electromagnetic Spectrum sweep for the purpose of isolating the presence of free space transmissions as in covert video transmissions and Carrier current sweeps can be conducted as well” said Mr. Eisemann. “The sweep checks determine low frequency (VLF) carrier current devices as well as radiating intercoms and the source will activate voice actuated (VOX) transmitters as well as provide a noticeable signal on the spectrum analyzer”.

Mr. Eisemann further explained that telephones and telephone lines are tested with a Balanced Audio Coupler telephone that will analyze, test and detect abnormal line voltages which would indicate a shunt or parallel type device loading the line.
