Arizona Honda Dealer Prepares for Cash For Clunkers Bill

Bell Honda in Phoenix Arizona is preparing for what could be a considerable increase in sales if the proposed Cash for Guzzlers bill is passed into law. The bill would offer a voucher of up to $4,500 for consumers who trade in their ‘gas guzzler’ for a more fuel efficient vehicle. Currently, Honda tops the list of most desired fuel efficient cars and Bell Honda in Phoenix is one of the largest new and used dealers in the state.

Data collected from US Consumers visiting a new Cash For Guzzlers website indicates that Honda is the top manufacturer that would benefit most from the proposed voucher program. Honda is currently the clear consumer favorite with a 2:1 edge over Toyota. The data compliments Honda’s efforts of introducing innovative and fuel-efficient vehicles to the US automotive market including the Honda Fit, Civic Hybrid and most recently, the Honda Insight Hybrid. All three average 30+ MPG or better.
