O3Spaces Workplace embraces Thunderbird

O3Spaces is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the O3Spaces Workplace Thunderbird plug-in. With this plug-in O3Spaces now presents Thunderbird users with the possibility to approach the O3Spaces Workplace repository directly from this popular open source e-mail client.
O3Spaces Workplace is a Web 2.0 document management & collaboration solution. It supports user friendly document management and office collaboration across platforms, office suites and e-mail clients.

The Thunderbird plug-in for O3Spaces Workplace is the third e-mail client plug-in of its kind to become available. O3Spaces Workplace now support Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird and the Zimbra Collaboration Suite. “Today, Thunderbird and Outlook together have a market share of almost 50%, according to a recent survey,” says Rob Mentink, CEO of O3Spaces. “Together with the recently delivered Zimbra integration and the upcoming Zarafa plug-in, O3Spaces Workplace’s Email archiving functionality is now compatible with the most-used enterprise e-mail clients.”
The O3Spaces e-mail plug-ins enable users to archive e-mails in their Workspace of choice directly from your their e-mail client. Furthermore, files stored in the Workplace repository can be attached directly to new e-mail messages being composed in the user’s email client.

O3Spaces Workplace is available in four editions; the free-to-use Community Edition, the fully supported Professional Edition, the full-featured and fully supported Enterprise Edition and the ’Software As A Service’ On-Demand Edition.
