Invest 4 Humanity Gives Again - Disabled Vets
Plano/Dallas, TX May 9, 2009 Disabled Vets have a hard time affording or even finding appropriate housing when they come to the VA Hospitals for rehab or anything out-patient. According to founder of Invest 4 Humanity, Cliff Robertson, “The fact is that when a Disabled U.S. Soldier lives in rural America on a limited income and has to travel long distances to get the rehabilitation He or She so richly deserves and they do not have a place to stay or cannot afford appropriate lodgeing they will often times go without the healthcare they need to lead productive lives.”
Invest 4 Humanity is in the process of buying 4 lots near the VA Hospital in Dallas, Texas. These homes will be ADA compliant (American with Disabilities Act) and be free for the Disabled U.S. Soldier to stay in while they are in rehab, in town looking for a job or even for the family of a Disabled Vet who is receiveing inpatient care. According Mr. Robertson “The purpose of this housing is too provide temporary housing at NO-COST to the Disabled Vet or His or Her Family.”
The inital plans are for 4 houses to be built. Each house will be able to house up to 4 Disabled Veterans. The need for this type of housing is great and the government resources are few so it is up to individuals to give of themselves to make this service available to more deserving U.S. Soldiers.
Invest 4 Humanity plans to repeat this same model in and around every VA Hospital in the nation. Cliff Robertson, the founder of Invest 4 Humanity, is a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in the Gulf War with distinction recieveing the Navy Achievement Medal for his efforts.
Mr. Cliff Robertson continues, “I was able to meet some great Men and Women while I served in the U.S. Navy and have been honored to meet many more since leaving. The American Soldier, Airman and Sailor deserve our undieing support and gratitude and if they have been wounded then they deserve the best care that is available... period.”
