Founder of Document Management Company Offers Cost-Cutting Strategies

Elmsford, NY – May 6, 2009. Mitch Taube, the principle founder and President/ CEO of Digiscribe International, is a featured expert in the May 2009 issue of e-Connections—the Westchester County Association’s bimonthly newsletter. The newsletter is circulated to the organization’s members which include businesses, civic associations and educational institutions.

In his article, Combating the Recession with Technology, Mr. Taube refers to the McKinsey Quarterly Report in his discussion of effective cost-saving measures. He says “Automating your most manually intensive processes can deliver a disproportionate amount of value in a short period of time,” adding that the strongest areas of opportunity usually exist where there is a high reliance on paper. He cites accounts payable and human resources departments as frequent bottleneck areas that can be streamlined with document scanning and a paperless document management system requiring no capital investment.

He is a past Chairman and Committee Member of the Association of Information and Image Management (AIIM) Document Management Service Bureau Executive Forum.
