Oracle Results Show Risk-Adjusted Return of 124 Percent over a Three-Year Period
Redwood Shores, CA.- A recent commissioned Total Economic Impact (TEI) study conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of Oracle found that key components of Oracle® Enterprise Manager, Configuration Management Pack and Provisioning and Patch Automation Pack, delivered a very favorable 124% Return on Investment (ROI) over a three year period with a risk-adjusted payback period of 15 months. These results were calculated from a sample organization based on in-depth interviews with Oracle customers and other data.
Conclusions from the Forrester Consulting TEI study indicate that the sample organization realized the following benefits and cost savings:
Administrator productivity savings—the sample organization improved administrator productivity by a total of 63% in the first year, 100% in the second year, and by 125 % in the third year;
Business productivity savings—the sample organization achieved a risk-adjusted $2,555,556 in benefits (over a three year period) from a reduction in system downtime and an increase in availability;
Capital expenditure savings on servers—the sample organization realized a risk-adjusted $862,500 in benefits (over a three year period) by avoiding capital spending on servers monitored by Oracle Enterprise Manager
