EMCOR Group, Inc. Subsidiary Awarded Contract For Installation Of Mechanical Systems At Fort Leavenworth Army Facility

NORWALK, CONNECTICUT.- EMCOR Group, Inc. (NYSE: EME), a Fortune 500® leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses, announced that its Central Mechanical Construction subsidiary in Manhattan, Kansas, has received a contract for the design/assist and installation of complete mechanical systems for two new projects at the Fort Leavenworth United States Army facility located in Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas.

Central Mechanical will be responsible for providing the installation of all mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping, at the new Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing (UEPH) barracks, a 54,534 square foot building which contains 56 two-person apartments. Additionally, Central Mechanical will also be responsible for the installation of the complete mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping, at a new multi-faith chapel at the Ft. Leavenworth facility. The chapel, a 26,200 square footage building, which includes classrooms and office spaces, is designed to hold 1,191 people. Both the barracks and the chapel will be designed and built to meet the requirements for a LEED Accredited Silver Facility.
