Delta Air Lines Adds Dallas-Love Field to Global Network

Three daily nonstop flights between Dallas’ in-town airport and Memphis begin July 6; special introductory fares as low as $79 each way*

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) is expanding its global network to offer customers nonstop flights to Dallas’ Love Field Airport. Effective July 6, 2009, Delta will offer three new daily round-trip flights between its Memphis, Tenn. hub and Dallas’ downtown airport, connecting in-town Dallas customers to the world’s largest airline network.

Customers flying between Love Field and Memphis will have connecting opportunities to 237 peak-day flights to 90 worldwide destinations. Daily round-trip flights between Dallas Love Field and Memphis are available for sale at delta.com beginning today with the following schedule:

To celebrate the new service, Delta is offering special introductory fares as low as $79* each way between Love Field and Memphis (based on a round-trip purchase) for travel through Sept. 30, 2009. The new Love Field flights complement existing service from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport where Delta offers 36 peak-day departures to its seven U.S. hubs – Atlanta, Cincinnati, Detroit, Memphis, Minneapolis-St. Paul, New York-JFK and Salt Lake City.

Delta’s new flights will be the only nonstop service between Love Field and Tennessee and expand on other recently announced new routes between Memphis and Texas. The airline added new nonstop flights to Memphis from McAllen and Lubbock in March and April, respectively.
