Increase in 2008 revenue confirms Selligent’s strategy
The software vendor had foreseen the demand for interactive marketing solutions by marketing departments
Gosselies – Selligent, European vendor of interactive marketing and Customer Relationship Management solutions, reported revenue of almost €15 million for 2008, an increase over 2007. The company intends to pursue this growth in 2009 by reinforcing the business related to its new interactive marketing offer.
The key event in 2008 was the October 2008 integration of interactive marketing specialist Optizen to complement the vendor’s activities. Selligent’s traditional CRM business remained stable compared to fiscal year 2007. The increase in revenue is mainly due to interactive marketing and the integration of both offers. Income from licence sales remained stable at 70% of total revenue.
Thanks to the relevance of its solutions and to its European presence, Selligent continues to attract major companies such as Promod, the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Top Ticket Line, CorsairFly, the Hotel Management Group, Fondation de France, ITWorld Canada, PCM, VRT, Grande Armée Conseil, Inmac, Smartbox, IDG Nederland, and VM Matériaux. Forrester Research qualified the Selligent CRM suite as one of the “strong performers” in its 2008 study entitled “Forrester Wave: Midmarket CRM suites”. The market research firm specifically underlined the suite’s internationalization capabilities, very attractive total cost of ownership, fast user adoption, and modern architecture and platform.
Selligent is optimistic for 2009. The launch of the Selligent Interactive Marketing offer has a promising outlook for growth as enterprises dedicate an increasing share of their media marketing budget to the Internet, interactivity, and other electronic channels such as mobile phones.
