SC Johnson Mexico Recognized With Social Responsibility Award

RACINE, Wis. – S. C. Johnson’s local company in Mexico, S. C. Johnson and Son, S.A. de C.V., has received the Socially Responsible Enterprise Award from the Mexican Center for Philanthropy – Centro Mexicano para la Filantropia (CEMEFI). The company is one of only ten companies in Mexico that have received this award for nine consecutive years.

The CEMEFI selects honorees based on candidates’ policies and programs in four areas: business ethics, commitment to the environment, employees’ quality of life in the company, care for the environment and contributions to the community.

This year, more than 750 companies applied for the award. SC Johnson is part of an elite group of ten companies, including among others Walmart, Coca-Cola Export, Deloitte, Hewlett-Packard and Shell that CEMEFI has recognized nine years in a row. The Socially Responsible Enterprise Award program was established in 2001.
