Scottrade Marks Milestone with 400 Branch Office Locations Coast to Coast

National online investment firm celebrates grand opening of four new branch offices today

ST. LOUIS.-From California to the New York islands to the Gulf Stream waters, Scottrade is marking a milestone today of 400 branch office locations in the U.S. The leading branch supported online investment firm is commemorating this event with grand opening ceremonies at four new branch offices in California, New York, Florida and Alabama. With the new offices, Scottrade will be serving online investors with 403 locations nationwide.

In todays economic times, we feel it is more important than ever to make significant investments into providing our clients with the highest level of customer service, said Rodger Riney, Scottrade founder and CEO. Opening four branch office locations in one day reflects Scottrades commitment to helping our customers take control of their finances and having more than 400 branch offices nationwide allows us to more rapidly respond to their needs.

Grand opening ceremonies planned at each of the four new locations will include community leaders and senior Scottrade executives. The local Scottrade branch managers will also be on hand to provide tours of the new branch offices and meet customers.

Scottrade is an online investment firm that provides tools and research for self directed investors to manage their finances. Stock brokers are available at branch offices to answer account related questions, provide customer service, and give tutorials on Scottrades online trading services. Many of Scottrades branches also serve as financial education centers, with many offering free classes to customers on a variety of investing topics.

The company began offering online trading in 1996. The branches opening today are four of more than 50 offices scheduled to open around the country in 2009.

* Hoover, Ala., a suburb of Birmingham. The office is located at 181 Main Street in the Patton Creek Shopping Center. Open house from Noon to 2 p.m. Central time with ribbon cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. Attendees to include Hoover Mayor Tony Petelos with Scottrade branch personnel and senior executives.
* Cerritos, Calif., located in Los Angeles County. This office is located at 11409 South Street in the Cerritos Promenade. Attendees at the 11 a.m. Pacific time ribbon cutting to include local community leaders with Scottrade branch personnel and senior executives.
* Largo, Fla., in the Tampa Bay area. This office is located at 10500 Ulmerton Road in the Largo Mall. Attendees at the 10 a.m. Eastern time ribbon cutting to include Largo Mayor Patricia Gerard with Scottrade branch personnel and senior executives.
* Massapequa Park, N.Y. This Long Island office is located at 4960 Merrick Road in the Southgate Shopping Center. Attendees at the 10 a.m. Eastern time ribbon cutting will include local community leaders with Scottrade branch personnel and senior executives.
