CINCINNATI, February 8, 2006 — Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) today announced that its Inscriber® RTX™ software powered the graphics for the new game show “Deal or No Deal,” which aired on the NBC Television Network. CBS Television, the mass media company responsible for the production aspect of this show, used Inscriber® RTX™ to create all on-screen and stage graphics using multiple channels simultaneously. More shows are planned for this year in the United States.

“Having used Inscriber graphics products for many years in shows such as ’Wheel of Fortune,’ we knew we would be getting the latest in broadcast innovation,” commented Bill Monk, supervisor of stage electronics for CBS Television. “We were very pleased with the performance and usability Inscriber® RTX™ provided us. We were especially impressed with its ability to deliver complex graphics and how easy our programmer found it to use.”

Inscriber® RTX™ puts full creative control in the hands of broadcasters, allowing them to create a purely custom broadcast solution. A powerful development tool, Inscriber® RTX™ enables users to create eye-pleasing layouts consisting of advanced design elements and data from multiple sources, using common programming fundamentals.

Robert Winter, director of technology–stage operations for CBS Television, commented on his experience programming with Inscriber® RTX™ saying, “The freedom that Inscriber® RTX™ provides me is truly amazing! The containerization feature that allows for multiple graphics to be contained within one another is nearly infinite. This feature alone has significantly cut down my development time.” He also cited the ability to develop within a desktop environment, instead of requiring a graphic output, as a major advantage.

“We are very pleased to once again be able to provide a solution for CBS Television. The company produces many of the top game shows today, and it is a testament to Harris’ commitment to excellence that CBS continues to rely on our products for stunning custom show graphics,” said Tim Thorsteinson, president of the Leitch Business Unit, which is part of the Broadcast Communications Division of Harris Corporation.
