Alternative Mobile Power Systems Launches AmpPac Dealer Program for First of Kind Solar Golf Cart Kit

March 31, 2009, Brookings, Oregon – Alternative Mobile Power Systems of Brookings, Oregon today announced that it has launched the AmpPac dealer program for its Solar Power Golf Cart Kit to provide a turnkey sales solution for dealers seeking complete system components, training and sales collateral including easy install videos, and a trade-in allowance program. The stainless steel and aluminum hardware kit includes printed wiring diagrams and instructions, an installation DVD and some of the tools necessary.

The Kit includes a digital battery monitor that provides visual cues that the system is working and helps the user diagnose potential electrical problems and a maximum power point tracking (MPPT) charge controller which “fools” the panel into producing a higher voltage by eliminating the panels’ view of the batteries in the system. This extra power is typically converted to higher current (amps), providing increased battery power up to 30%.
