Global Financial Crisis Present Challenging Backdrop For Kingdom Economic Yearly Summit April 22-25 In Austin Texas

AUSTIN, TX - March 26, 2009 — Christian business and financial representatives from at least 15 nations and 40 U.S. states are expected to attend the 2nd Annual Kingdom Economic Yearly Summit (K.E.Y.S.) April 22-25, 2009 in Austin, in the midst of one of the worst financial crises in modern history.

“God is moving powerfully in the marketplace,” said Dr. Bruce Cook, convener and host of K.E.Y.S. “What’s happening is both a market correction and a marketplace reformation,” he added, “and the global financial turmoil and shaking of economies, nations, markets, institutions and currencies has helped create or trigger widespread fear and a crisis of belief in many people. In contrast, a growing number of business men and women are turning to God, discovering prayer and Biblical principles, choosing faith over fear, and re-examining their assumptions and beliefs about finances, investing, debt, retirement and stewardship in light of current conditions,” he stated.

Patterned loosely after the World Economic Forum, but with a Christian focus and perspective, K.E.Y.S. will feature a number of internationally-known speakers and authors such as Dr. Richard Blackaby, President of Blackaby International, Jonesboro, GA; Dr. Lance Wallnau, President of Lance Learning Group, Keller, TX; Dr. Pat Francis, President of Elomax Inc., Pat Francis Ministries and Kingdom Covenant Centre, Mississaugua, Ontario; Dr. Bill Hamon, founder and Bishop of Christian International Ministries, Santa Rosa Beach, FL; Dr. Sharon Stone, apostolic leader of Christian International Europe, Anslow, Burton-Upon-Trent; Rick Joyner, founder and President of Morningstar Ministries and Kingdom Business Association, Fort Mill, SC; Dennis Peacocke, founder and President of Kingdom Ministries Inc. and Strategic Christian Services, Santa Rosa, CA; Arthur Burk, President of Sapphire Leadership Group Inc. and Plumbline Ministries, Anaheim, CA; David van Koevering, Physicist & President of Elsewhen, Cleveland, TN; and John Muratori, President of John Muratori Ministries, Senior Pastor of Calvary Life Family Worship Center and Executive Director of Turning Point Christian Center, Cheshire, CT.
