Detective movies take center stage on Orange cinéma séries

From April 1 to 5, 2009, Orange will be officially partnering the Beaune International Detective Film Festival (formerly the Cognac Detective Film Festival), further strengthening its commitment to cinema that began over 10 years ago with the Cannes Film Festival, British Academy Film Awards, Asian Film Festivals and Deauville American Film Festival.

For this occasion, Orange cinéma séries has got out its magnifying glass and raincoat to create a special selection of detective films. In this way, the Orange ciné choc channel will be offering you a series of French detective films in which you will be able to find Inspector Lavardin and Police. American cinema is also in the spotlight, with a selection of Steven Seagal’s best films throughout April. Lastly, Orange ciné géants will be presenting film noir classics with Robert Mitchum.

At 11 pm every Saturday, from April 4 to 25: film noir with Robert Mitchum
Orange ciné géants is plunging into the world of film noir with one of its most emblematic actors, Robert Mitchum, presenting four classic films:

- Jacques Tourneur’s Out of the Past – April 11
- Don Siegel’s The Big Steal – April 18
- Rudolph Maté’s Second Chance – April 25
