EMC’s workforce training and development organization, EMC University, was honored with the prestigious “Best Overall Corporate University” award as part of the 10th Annual Corporate University Xchange Awards for Excellence and Innovation in Corporate Learning. Additionally, for the third consecutive year EMC was ranked among the top 5 on Training magazine’s prestigious list of 125 companies with leading employer-sponsored workforce training and development programs.

EMC Named “Best Overall Corporate University” By Corporate University Xchange

The Corporate University Xchange Awards for Excellence and Innovation in Corporate Learning is the longest running independent ranking of corporate learning and talent programs. Winners are selected by a panel of independent, expert judges from notable organizations including Corning, Inc., Wipro Technologies, ExxonMobil Corp., Plastipak Packaging Inc. and IBM Corp. EMC was named a finalist in four categories: Alliances, Measurement, Technology, and Marketing and selected winner of the “Best Overall Corporate University” award out of over 200 global corporate universities.

This award recognized EMC University for being an integral contributor to EMC’s success through the establishment of a comprehensive and well-executed corporate learning organization.

EMC Ranks #4 Overall on the Training 125

For the sixth consecutive year, EMC has been honored as one of the world’s premier companies on Training magazine’s Top 125 list of companies with employer-sponsored workforce training and development. This ranking recognizes EMC’s commitment to the education and development of its employees, partners and customers, which span an array of innovative offerings ranging from EMC FastStart and Inside Sales Development new hire programs, to the company’s innovative Organization and Talent Review, to industry training, and accreditation and certification programs such as EMC Proven Professional Certification and Sales/Partner Accreditation.

Editors at Training review each application to rank the final list of Top 125.
