Cox Communications Chooses NDS to Implement a Full Suite of tru2way Interactive Applications

COSTA MESA, USA - NDS, the leading provider of technology solutions for digital pay-TV, today announced that it has been chosen to implement an enhanced suite of interactive applications for Cox Communications on their tru2way set-top boxes (STBs). The applications offer a wide range of entertainment and information services for subscribers including: integrated telephony services, email, news, sports, weather, games, movie listings, Mosaic video channels, widgets, horoscopes and lottery results, as well as a customer care facility.
The enhanced suite of interactive applications has been developed to more closely complement the new UI design currently being implemented by NDS for Cox, which integrates program information for Cox’s existing service offerings of Video On Demand (VOD), digital video recorder (DVR) and linear channels, into an intuitive, user-friendly UI.
