Citigold’s New International SOS Service Offers Global Medical Support

Bangkok – Citigold customers can enjoy ’added peace of mind’ when they travel overseas thanks to a new International SOS (ISOS) service launched by Citibank Thailand.

Through ISOS, Citigold customers will have access to medical advice and medical support whenever and wherever they are traveling around the world. While the medical advice is free, the other services will be charged to the client.

“As many Citigold clients are frequent business and leisure travelers they can now seek top-class medical assistance, should they need it, when they are overseas,” Mr. Pavin Rodloytuk, Retail Banking Director, Citibank, N.A. said. “This is a good example of the unique lifestyle and travel benefits provided by Citi and this service can be accessed via the phone or online around the clock.”

Some of the ISOS features include:

* Access to the health and safety advice
* Access to medical centers and doctors
* Assistance in attaining prescription drugs and medical equipment
* In emergency situations, Citigold clients can call ISOS to arrange for medical care, transportation and evacuation if necessary.

The ISOS is available in more than 70 countries and includes 27 Alarm Centers, 26 clinics and air ambulance support in some markets.

For added convenience, the ISOS call centers are manned by experienced multi-lingual staff that can also help regarding the loss of travel documents or credit cards.
