NJ BMW Dealer First to Debut 2009 7 Series Sedan

Circle BMW in Monmouth County NJ announced plans to debut the new 2009 7 series sedan on March 25th. A launch party will ring-in the arrival of the new sedan which features a host of industry first driver assistance technologies that bring unmatched driver engagement, handling and safety features to the luxury performance segment.

The Sedan brings technology to the forefront of the driving experience by offering driving enhancements like Dynamic Driving Control which for the first time, allows the driver to alter the set up by changing the suspension from one of 5 settings to allow for comfort or a heightened sporty and dynamic experience.

A dynamic twin-turbo, 400-hp V-8 engine powers the new 7 series and works in tandem with innovative driving technologies, like optional Integral Active Steering, for superior handling and control. At low speed, the rear wheels are turned in opposite directions of the front wheels, enhancing the agility of the car and making the turning circle smaller. At higher speeds the Integral Active Steering turns the rear wheels in the same direction as the front, increasing the vehicle’s stability, maneuverability and comfort.

Added technology achievements include a Night Vision system that can identify and detect humans in the dark from up to 100 meters away alerting the driver to potential danger and the first ever Head-Up Display, which projects driving information like speed and navigation onto a virtual windscreen. The virtual image appears in front of the car so the driver’s attention stays on the road.
