Fujitsu Siemens Computers receives T-Mobile certificate for its notebook range


All LIFEBOOK and ESPRIMO Mobile models with integrated mobile broadband have been awarded the T-Mobile International certificate

Munich, Fujitsu Siemens Computers’ LIFEBOOK and ESPRIMO Mobile notebook series with integrated mobile broadband have been tested successfully by T-Mobile for use in a mobile broadband environment. As a result, T-Mobile International testifies that these notebooks offer an excellent mobile broadband experience within T-Mobile’s data network. With his certificate, Fujitsu Siemens Computers meets important selection criteria for mobile broadband projects and guarantees its clients easy and effective use of 3G technology combined with the respective T-Mobile data contract.

As the first step, the T-Mobile certificate has been awarded in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and UK and is valid for all models from the LIFEBOOK and ESPRIMO Mobile series. Each notebook can be combined with the preferred T-Mobile data package.

The T-Mobile certificate marks another milestone for Fujitsu Siemens Computers in the partnership with T-Mobile. Both companies work together closely to enhance worldwide access and use of mobile broadband services. With this certification, Fujitsu Siemens Computers underlines once again its strategy to support mobile broadband as the relevant medium in the future and equip all its notebooks with the option of integrated high-speed 3G/UMTS. Fujitsu Siemens Computers has recently joined the international mobile broadband initiative of GSMA which also focuses on an international expansion of mobile broadband.
